What this programme is

Richard Peters Realty LLC (Florida brokerage licence CQ1069729) runs a text-message programme for people who ask us about selling a property. If you tick the box asking us to text you, we will send you messages about your enquiry: what your property is likely to fetch, offers we have for it, paperwork we need, and times we can speak.

This is a conversational programme between you and a person at this brokerage. It is not a marketing list and we do not use it to send advertisements.

How you join

The only way to join is to tick the text-message box on one of our forms and give us your mobile number. The box is separate from the box agreeing to calls and email, it is never ticked for you, and leaving it alone does not stop your enquiry reaching us. We never add a number to this programme from a purchased list, from public records, or because somebody else gave it to us.

Agreeing to be texted is not a condition of buying anything from us, of selling your property, or of any service we provide.

How often we text

Message frequency varies, because it depends on where your sale has got to. A quiet week may bring none at all; the week an offer lands may bring several in a day. We do not send scheduled or bulk campaigns.

What it costs

We do not charge for the messages. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your plan and your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting that number. You will get one message confirming it, and then nothing further. Stopping the texts does not withdraw your enquiry and does not stop us calling or emailing you; tell us if you want those to stop too.

Carriers we work with

Messages are delivered over the major US carriers and their resellers. Delivery is not guaranteed on every network.

Your number

We will not share your mobile number, or the fact that you agreed to be texted, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It goes no further than this brokerage and the messaging provider that carries the message for us. Our full Privacy Policy covers everything else we hold.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date below says when it last changed.
